About Malaysia
The Malay Peninsula is not only home to beautiful beaches, untouched rainforests and inspiring mountains, it is also the site of one of Asia’s most energetic and exciting cities: Kuala Lumpur. "KL" has become a modern Asian city of gleaming skyscrapers, but it still retains much of its local colour. Take a look at the famous Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest building in the world, that provides a bird's-eye view of the cosmopolitan metropolis. Then visit the colonial buildings in the centre, a vibrant Chinatown with street vendors and night markets that will provide an astonishing array of ethnic foods. The city is without a doubt a melting-pot of many cultures, ethnic groups and religions, embracing both tradition and modernity. Kuala Lumpur is truly the heartbeat of Malaysia!
